Our Vision
A future where every child and family impacted by foster care or housing instability experiences dignity, stability, healing, and the unwavering support needed to thrive.
Who We Serve
Beyond Eighteen Foundation supports children, youth, and young adults impacted by foster care, housing instability, and transitional hardship, as well as the foster and kinship families who care for them.
- Youth aging out of foster care
- Children and young adults experiencing housing instability
- Youth navigating transitional hardship
- Foster and kinship caregivers
- Families seeking wraparound community support
Why We Exist
Youth aging out of foster care often face significant barriers to stability — housing insecurity, lack of support systems, educational disruption, limited workforce opportunities, and unmet emotional needs.
Foster and kinship caregivers also frequently experience resource shortages and limited community support. Beyond Eighteen Foundation was created to help bridge these gaps by providing wraparound, trauma-informed support focused on long-term healing, stability, and empowerment.
Our Goal
Beyond Eighteen Foundation aims to create a lasting support system where youth and families impacted by foster care are not only stabilized in moments of crisis, but empowered to build sustainable, hopeful futures.
Meet Our Leadership
Faith Woelki
Founder, Beyond Eighteen Foundation
Everyone deserves a foundation strong enough to support their future, long after the age of eighteen.
My journey didn't start in a traditional boardroom — it started inside a system that millions of youth navigate every single day, and too often, have to face alone.
As someone who aged out of the foster care system, I know firsthand what it feels like to step off the edge of what is often called the "systemic cliff." The moment you turn eighteen, the safety net vanishes, leaving you to figure out housing, higher education, career paths, and independent living overnight with very little preparation. I've stood right at that precipice, and I know the weight of the gaps in a system that was built to protect, yet too frequently leaves young adults scrambling to catch themselves.
I founded Beyond Eighteen because I refuse to accept that struggling through the transition to adulthood has to be the default experience for youth aging out of care. I didn't just want to look back at the broken pieces — I wanted to build solutions. I believe that every young person leaving the foster care system deserves real stability, tangible resources, and a fierce advocate in their corner.
We aren't just here to fill the gaps; we are here to redesign the bridge. Because everyone deserves a foundation strong enough to support their future, long after the age of eighteen.
